September 12, 2008 Hello, Diary! The second week of school has been pretty great. All the teachers love me and are constantly asking me to join extra after-school classes. One teacher even asked if I could help tutor some of the kids that were having trouble. I'm not doing any after-school stuff, but I have been able to help a lot with helping kids that are having trouble. There is this Skitty in my math class that is having trouble with fractions. I mean, it's completely new stuff, so I don't blame her for having a hard time. But, everyone else is progressing and she's not. Her name is Keri. She's really, really nice and super sweet. I help tutor her at lunch and sometimes during recess. We are good friends now and we always sit together at lunch, even when I'm not helping her with math. I think Larza really likes Keri, too. The teacher just told us today that next week we are going to be getting a lot more work. I think that means that we are handling the work we are getting right now very well, and it's an honor to get more work assignments. But, Larza and Rowan are already groaning about it. I'm actually really excited. School has been great so far! It's a place where you can go and show-off your talents. =3 Well, not that I'm a show-off, but you get recognition if you do a good job on something. So, if next week is going to be a big work load, I might not be able to write in my diary as much, but I'll still be writing, of course. I'm thinking about putting all my poems into a book and getting it bound. Maybe I can make a poem book and give it to Larza as a present. She really likes poetry. I think that's because it's kinda the same format as songs, and Larza enjoys writing songs. She plays the piano really well. <3 But, I'm going to go now. I think I'll call Rowan and Larza up on the phone and see if they have plans this weekend. Okay, bye, Diary! Akádia Previous EntriesSeptember 3, 2008 Good Morning, Diary! Oh, my gosh! School is awesome! I've been missing out on so much the last three years! You see, unlike Larza and Rowan, I was, up until recently, homeschooled. So, I know all the basics about school, but I've never actually been there before--the teachers and crafts and lockers and other kids and lunch tables! Everything is so... magical! First, we started off with introductions and I got to meet my homeroom teacher, Mr. Mime. He's very nice, although not much of a talker. Lots of body language. And, then we had first period. I've never had first period before! It was all just one period before, no switching rooms like this! Anyway, we walked through the hallways to our lockers, which are really cool. My locker combination is secret, though. Then, we get our books for first period, which happened to be art class. Now, I'm not much of an artist, but Mr. Smeargle really makes you want to be an artist. We got to use paw-paints. I made a picture of Larza and she made a picture of Rowan. And, Rowan made a picture of... a pie, lit on fire. *sighs* He'll never learn. Anyway, we gave each other our pictures. So now I have a flaming pie hanging on my bedroom wall. Haha! I have to say, honestly, my favorite class was writing. We got to work on poetry and it was fantastic! I wrote a poem about the sun being like a yellow jewel suspended on a net of blue skies. I said the clouds were as majestic as mist emitted by God. My teacher really loved my poem and let me read it in front of the class. But, that was only the first day! And, it was so much fun. Today will be even better because we'll really get to work hard. So, I've got some homework to finish. Exciting stuff. Poetry and math that I didn't finish last night. See ya later, my darling Diary! Akádia September 2, 2008 Dear Diary, It's my first day of school. I've never been to school before and I'm super nervous. In fact, I barely got to sleep last night. I kept going in and out of my Pokéball, but my nerves have got the best of me. My friend Eevee, Larza, said I should write my feelings down in a log or diary like she does. I feel better already! So I should introduce myself. I'm Akádia, and I'm an Espeon. I'm not too special or anything, but I like writing stories. Anyway, schooltime! Bye, Diary! Akádia Profile
