There are a lot of fonts to choose from, but not all of them will work on every computer. Since new fonts are invented every year, you may find that if you have an older computer, those fonts won't appear. I compiled a list of fonts below that are on my computer that are browser safe for the most part.

Browser-Safe Font Name:

Palatino Linotype
Book Antiqua
Arial Black
Comic Sans MS
Lucida Sans Unicode
Lucida Console
Courier New
Trebuchet MS

Not all fonts work on every computer browser. Because of this, it is important to choose a second, third, and sometimes fourth font that their browser will recognize and go to in case the first one doesn't work.

For instance, if you use the font "Chiller" as the body font but somebody's browser doesn't support that, the text will come out in Courier New. So, instead, keep in mind a back-up font from the list of Browser-Safe Fonts. To do this put a comma after the original font you want to use and put in the secondary font and put a comma after that to put a third and so on and so forth.

Here's an abbreviated list of symbols you may use and the HTML code that corresponds with it.
