~FAQs~

This FAQ, or Frequently Asked Questions was created because... we got too many of the same questions about us or the site and in order to save ourselves the aggravation of having to type up the same response 382 times, we figured that you could just have your question answered here. If, however, you really have a sincere question that wasn't answered here, we will take the time to answer it for you, so don't think we created this page simply because we don't like people asking us questions.

"Who owns this site?"

This site is owned by aliens planning on sucking up your brains through a bendy straw. Mwahaha! *cough* No, this site is owned by BLURSH, who is the main webmistress. It's also co-owned by the lovely co-webmistresses Fexible and Pyro. Watch out or we'll suck your brains up through a bendy straw.

"How do I affiliate with you?"

See the Rules page to check affiliation rules. Then, go to the "Contact Us" page and fill out the form.

"Can you teach me HTML?"

Can BLURSH teach you HTML? Yes. Can Fexible or Pyro do this? Eh... probably not, so don't bother them with it. If you'd like to learn HTML there are plenty of books and sites with guides, but if you really are still stumped (or lazy) and you'd like someone here to teach you, ask for BLURSH--she's great. Hehehe.

"What is Stareon?"

See the About Stareon page to learn about Stareon.

"How did Stareon's Hideout start?"

That's an excellent question, which needs a lengthier explaination. So, please visit our History page to find that out.

"When do you update?"

BLURSH: Whenever I feel like it. ^_~
Fexible: When Blursh forces me to. >.>
Pyro: ...Whenever someone asks me. Which hasn't happened much. W/e. I'm a busy person!! *sets something on fire* >_>

"What does BLURSH [and Fexible] mean?"

BLURSH is short for "Blue Rush." Fexible's nickname was derived from her not being able to spell "flexible" correctly.

"Where'd the name Pyro come from?"

Okay, that is such a stupid question, we aren't even going to bother Pyro for that. Pyro means FIRE. Pyro LOVES FIRE. Mystery solved.

"Hey, BLURSH, how do you know Fexible?"

Why does everyone ask BLURSH question? Huh? Why do you ask that? Eh, it doesn't matter. BLURSH & Fexible (and Pyro) are all good friends in real life. Yes, real life, which I hope you know what real life is.

"A/S/L?"

Don't ask the owners of this site personal questions like this, it's rude. And, annoying. No one here needs to tell you anything personal and you don't need to tell us anything personal. Just enjoy our site, forget about us.

And, you, little kiddies, probably shouldn't be telling others your personal information. What do you want? You want people to steal your identity or suck your brains out with a bendy straw? No? Then, stop running around telling people, "I'm a 10 year old girl who lives in Arizona who likes Pokémon and My Little Pony and I'd like everyone to be my friend! Lalalala!" Alternately, don't be one of those sulkers who gives out personal information like this, "I'm 15 years old and I live in Colorado. I like Pokémon, thus I'm always getting made fun of. I'm not very tall and I have blonde hair and I think I'm ugly. I have low self-esteem and I'm always crying. I write poetry all the time and people call me an emo girl."

Why is this? Because it's dangerous to give information out, especially on the Internet. I can't control who comes here and reads what's on here. If there is a predator somewhere and they read info about you and think "she/he's an easy target" and start to contact you, I can't control this. I'd like it not to happen, so that's why I'm going to warn you to be selective with your trust and to not tell others your Age/Sex/Location. It's an unwise move.

"Do you use chatspeak?"

BLURSH: Liek OMG! YEAH! LOL.
Fexible: Not that much online, but in real life I say 'lol' and 'OMG'. XD
Pyro: In IMs, it saves my life. In real life, 'OMG' and 'lol' come out from time to time. Sometimes on purpose. xD

"What is your favorite Pokémon?"

BLURSH: It's a tough choice between Rapidash and Eevee.
Fexible: WHY MUST YOU MAKE ME CHOOSE!? @_@ If I have to answer, I'd say it's a tie between Leafeon, Vaporeon, Ditto, Luxray, and cheese. What? What do you mean cheese isn't a Pokemon!? >.>
Pyro: Either Umbreon, or Houndoom.

"What is your favorite Eon?"

BLURSH: Espeon... Ooo. Purple!
Fexible: No favorites. They all are awesome. But Leafeon, Vaporeon, and Jolteon are awesomer. :D
Pyro: Umbreon.

"Do you have Messenger/IM?"

Like most people, BLURSH, Fexible, & Pyro all have an IM of some kind, but they'd prefer you contact them from the site's form, not from Messenger. So, please don't add them to your friend's list or ask them to be your friends from there. If you want to say something important, contact them using the contact form on the Contact Us page or email them.

"I just emailed you! When are you going to respond???"

When you send a form it'll say you'll get a response, if one is needed, within 24-48 hours. But, if it's been longer than that, then it is very possible that the owners of this site just haven't checked their email today (or they don't check it every 5 minutes like you check yours). Also, they do have real lives and take vacations and have social lives (sometimes) so they don't always get to check their email once a day like they'd like to. And, sometimes, if a response to your email is going to take a little while to reply to, they'll put it off to another day so they can properly and accurately reply to you. Please stop asking when they will respond. Pestering them by sending duplicates of the same message message won't help. However, if it's been a week and there is no response, reminding them or trying again is okay. ((side note: Please, please, please--for the love of Ho-oh--DO NOT SEND CHAIN LETTERS! If you continue to do this, no matter what you say, you're email address will be blocked.))

"How many emails do you get a day?"

BLURSH: Too many. In the public inbox (for the site), I get anywhere from 15-25 emails when the site is active. This includes questions, affiliation requests, answers to different games on the site, and more. Also, I get a lot of people asking me to help them do something or make something for them. I actually don't mind this, and sometimes I even volunteer for it, but when I have 20 people to help, it gets hectic. Please understand if it takes a while for me to help you.

I can't tell you how much people like to spam me with what they call "chain letters" and "friend requests" and "email forwards." Let me say this again, "DO NOT SEND CHAIN LETTERS!" I don't care if there is something important in it, like a funny joke, a cute animal picture, a sparkly image that says "I want to be your friend," or a warning of a new disease the World Health Organization discovered. I DON'T WANT CHAIN LETTERS. I don't have time to read through a billion chain letters which are terribly formatted with bad grammar and no point.

Fexible: Not many. I usually only get emails from Blursh telling me that I need to update something. XD I like getting emails, though, so if Blursh doesn't reply to your emails after a week or so, you can always email me~ :3

Pyro: Depends on how often I check it; not often mind you. So usually, when I check it, around 20.
